Dr. Sajan Johnson, PT, MS, GCS

Sajan is Board Certified as a Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS) from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.  He graduated from Touro College in 2002 where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Biology and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Geriatrics Section and the New York Physical Therapy Association (NYPTA). Sajan has worked in all phases of the health care continuum from the acute care hospital setting, in-patient rehab, outpatient and home health.  He has extensive experience and is most passionate about serving the senior population in the homecare setting. In 2011, Sajan founded Advance at Home Physical Therapy, a rehabilitative private practice providing quality home based physical therapy to seniors throughout Long Island and Queens. Sajan has joined the Metro team with the goal of improving the quality of life of our patients through the same delivery of compassionate care and uncompromising service. In his spare time, Sajan enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, playing the piano and watching sports.
